& if you go back to the very first episode, he was remarking about the traits of his headseamstresses, which was kind of cute actually. he did say he’d only met madame pouzieux once but she’s a countryside warrior. i don’t think she would appreciate the help of the « bourgeois » anyways…
Jordan, I think you’re reading into it too much. Karl has his head seamstresses and those seamstresses have their workers. Workers usually come and go, like in the previous clip where temporary workers were brought in.
All companies delegate tasks or else there would be utter madness.
actually, i was referring to his disgust for the working class, you’re right – these hardworking woman should be spared any contact with this deplorable human being.
@jordancloudbuster Sorry, two handbags in fact!
@jordancloudbuster Working for Chanel and meeting Karl Lagerfeld are only related ideas if you’re a starfucker, these women work for the love of their craft. Besides, they also gave her a 4 thousand dollar handbag, didn’t they?
« A lady who’s retiring would like a photo with you ». It’s funny that after all the toil and grace the women « behind the curtain » have put into this, that that is considered a proper introduction to Mr. Lagerfeld, when they deserve much more. And Madame Pouzieux, left to her own devices in the middle of a storm! Is that what the French bourgeois call ettiquette?
the true artists are behind the curtain
It looked like Mme Pouzieux said FUCK!! at 2:10 when she heard the thunder.
Hahahhaah Monsieur Karl knew exactly where he wanted to stand as he planned it from the night before. Hahhhahahaha. Genius!!!
I adored watching Oprah Winfrey at the Paris Haute Couture, seeing the transformation in her public persona and style from the mid-80′s to present. She had to « learn » high-style (if you will); being such an avid fan of her’s, it’s been such a joy observing her enjoyment and appreciation as the finest things in life have been made available to her via her own hard work and dedication to career. I have articles from Vogue and Town & Country in which her education into high-style is applauded.
