I LOVE this cologne, recommended and purchased based on this review, and the spices and beautiful, smooth dry down makes this a personal top 3 for me. It’s just so unique and oriental that even I enjoy it on my skin, ahead of impressing anyone else, and I do first value my own happiness of the scent I wear to merely impressing everyone around me.

As far as I can see, you have always conducted your reviews with a great deal of care and effort, so I wish you many continued successes. As to the relationship with fragrancenet: most people (the majority of Basenoters included) can understand that your loyalty to that firm does not change your perception of a perfume or inspire a sense of obligation to the given perfume brand.
Just keep doing what you are doing, and be the best you can!

dont apologize to them. you owe them nothing; you put in a lot of personal effort into this, and anyone stupid enough to ignore it because they assume you’re bias isnt worth the time…keep up the awesome work.
It really shouldn’t matter that u were supplied with some of the fragrances when the integrity and quality of the reviews are the same

Even though I haven’t been there as often lately, I am a long time member of basenotes. I can assure you that they are a very helpful and nice community. I believe that you may have ran into a few bad apples, though.
hey timmy keep doing your reviews just stay on topic. and dont listen to basenotes you are doing a good job. Just let it all hang out man keep doing your thing.
ignore the basenoters theyre being a bit petty to be honest. I prefer your videos to basenote reviews by far!

I really enjoy your reviews because they are ‘down to earth’ and an honest opinion. I think some review sites do not have realistic opinions (a couple of reviewers have reviewed 3000+ fragrances!!).
Quality reviews over quantity and day!

Oh and I forgot to add.. you should definitely look into Guerlain’s L’Instant de Guerlain Extreme. It’s like a soft and somewhat fresh oriental. A bit spicy, a bit soft, all dusted with cocoa. It’s gorgeous stuff
