It is a french song (lyrics : Maurice Magre). He sings in french but the accent is terrible !! Great voice.

the german version is called « Wie lange noch? » (1944) same composer obviously (Kurt Weill) words by Walter Mehring
the slightly different french version was written ten years earlier with words by Maurice Magre.
is there really a german version? what’s the title? I’m pretty sure that this song was written in french but i’d love to learn the german version
The French version is not as expresive as the German one, but the way you sing it is absolutely marvellous. Where was this performance?
