@huertamj128 I support the idea of a « Single Global Currency » backed by Food and Agriculture, as the unit of account, as the long-term solution for financial crisis. With complement to rules under the Rome Declaration on World Food Security. An intrinsic, limited and scare non-neccessity commodity such as gold, silver nor fiat money, as the unit of account, and non-globalization of macroeconomics is to blame for financial crisis.
@mubaraqtopeakere First of all thank you for the reply altought I would preffer to read your opinion, not just some quotes. I read the UN article were you got the Stiglitz quote, and also states « Mr. Stiglitz said that in a world of globalization it does not make sense to have a single currency, the currency of one country, as the basis of a global economic system » This contradicts what Vlockler says. So: which opinion you REALLY support and WHY?
….I am determined to breathe new life and inject renewed confidence into a strengthened United Nations firmly anchored in the twenty-first century, and which is effective, efficient, coherent and accountable. » UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon
« Every day we are reminded of the need for a strengthened United Nations, as we face a growing array of new challenges, including humanitarian crises, human rights violations, armed conflicts and important health and environmental concerns. Seldom has the United Nations been called upon to do so much for so many….
« “Under the current system developing countries are lending trillions of dollars to the reserve currencies, to the United States, at essentially zero interest rates. Now it’s a kind of foreign aid to the United States, and some people might say the United States needs some foreign aid, but it’s not what you might call an equitable system. A global system would increase the stability of the financial system. Everybody would benefit.” » Joseph Stiglitz Nobel Prize-winning economist
Thought provoking remarks!!! I call it macroeconomics disequilibrium and injustice. »"A global economy requires a global currency. »" Paul Volcker the former U.S. Federal Reserve Chairman;
@huertamj128 ….A global system would increase the stability of the financial system. Everybody would benefit.” » Joseph Stiglitz Nobel Prize-winning economist
@huertamj128 on the contrary. »"A global economy requires a global currency. »" Paul Volcker the former U.S. Federal Reserve Chairman; « “Under the current system developing countries are lending trillions of dollars to the reserve currencies, to the United States, at essentially zero interest rates. Now it’s a kind of foreign aid to the United States, and some people might say the United States needs some foreign aid, but it’s not what you might call an equitable system….

@MrSoliman69 Thank you very much, my friend!
Very good and i wish you very good luck
@ManuelMansillaMoya I hope this re-explanation of my proposal is helpful.
Once again, thank you for your interest.
Manuel Mansilla Moya
@ManuelMansillaMoya …Creating a monetary union would be beneficial for all of us, not just for countries with weaker currencies. By having more stability, a more powerful currency, and intergovernmental cooperation, we can solve a great deal of the problems we suffer in our countries. As emerging and developing countries, we have to realize we have to work together with the ones of our kind to solve our problems. As we say here in Mexico: Unity makes Strength.
@ManuelMansillaMoya …Now, why would countries like mine, Mexico, or Chile, unite countries with waving currencies? Well, the objective of this union is to stop the economic instability we experience in emerging and developing countries and to bring stability. …
@ManuelMansillaMoya …every country can have their own economic policies for their best interest (just like a federal republic: even though the federal government has a defined economic policy, every state can have their own respective policies, so long they do not interfere with the federal one). …
@ManuelMansillaMoya …Having a common economic policy does not mean giving up all of your economic sovereignty. On the contrary, it means following the legislative statutes concerning the common economic policy, but as long as they do not interfere with this policy,…
@huertamj128 First of all, let me thank you for your interest in my video, and for taking the time to comment on it. You are right, a common economic policy is part of my proposal, and yes, you cannot apply the same antidote to everyone. Out of context, this last statement is true, but when it comes to my proposal, I believe I can refute it. …
A common currency for all the 153 developing countries? They all may be developing economies, but even there, we can find great disparities. Why should countries like Mexico or Chile that after years of a waving currency that have just settled, carry on with unsettled currencies like the africans? By doing your proposal, you’d have to ellaborate a common economic policy, which experience has dismissed since it’s impossible to apply the same antidot in every pacient, the diseases are multiple.
