ok I got it. Hahn adapted this song from a poem about the mythical story of Chloris. Chloris is a wife of a mythical god who abducted Chloris and gave her dominion over plants and flowers. Chloris is another name for Chloe which means green, yellow or something along the lines of plants and flowers.

just don’t get it. there is so much great music for voice. this is just uninteresting entertainment. no direction, no structure, just one nice idea…! is of course a matter of taste, but don´t think this has really lasting values…
